Empire Philatelics is a limited partnership formed in 1994 by John Hart and Barry Banks. Both are life-long philatelists who specialize in the stamps and postal history of Great Britain, the British Empire and Commonwealth, with emphasis on the period 1840-1950. John, formerly a Fellow of the Royal Philatelic Society of London and a member of the Expert Committee of the American Philatelic Society, serves postal history clients with personal service and knowledge formed over many years of collecting. Barry will provide similar service to clients seeking elusive items for their collections. Empire Philatelics serves a diverse worldwide clientele. Empire Philatelics is a registered American Philatelic Society dealer in good standing and ascribes to the APS Code of Ethics.
